Harry Swank, 79, of Rockport, Tex., a native of Montgomery County, died Saturday morning at Taft, Tex. Mr. Swank farmed many years northwest of Crawfordsville and operated a service station in Montgomery County and at Rockport. Born Aug. 30, 1897, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Swank. He was married to Mamie Todd. She died Dec. 13, 1974. Surviving are four sons, Marion of Rockport, Harry of Marion, Mich., Gene of Davison, Mich., and Lee of Coden, Ala.; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
